She really didn't need the caffeine, but Jasey had never been able to resist getting a coffee when she was at a cafe. It was a good reason not to be there, really, but Tara had invited her there, and Jasey felt like she hadn't seen her friend in ages. Of course, it had probably only been a couple of days since they'd seen one another, but Jasey tended to miss Tara more quickly than she missed her other friends. It probably had something to do with the fact that the girl never expected her to be anything different than what she was.
Setting her latte on a short table, Jasey curled up, tucking her feet beneath her as she cuddled into the corner of a sofa. She plopped her well-worn acoustic guitar on her lap and strummed it quietly. There weren't a lot of people there, so she probably wouldn't be bothering anyone by playing. And she had to find some way to pass the time before her friend arrived. [/size]

Tara got held up a little longer than she expected, but she pedaled over to the cafe as quick as she could, locking up her bike outside before heading in. She knew Jasey would be filled with caffeine if she was the second one hear. That was a dangerous thought, that girl could get loud with her coffee. She went up to the counter and ordered an iced vanilla coffee and went to the couch where her friend was playing. Tara always loved her music.
"Hey Jase-Face," Teddy said with a smile as she plopped into the chair nearby, sipping through her straw. She had a playful glint in her eye and a smile that wouldn't go away. She waited impatiently for Jasey to ask what was up, why she'd asked to meet her and such.
Teddy wasn't much for waiting, "I have big shit to tell you."
