He keeps getting strange premonitions of all the ways things can go wrong. Sometimes, he has an uncontrollable urge to act a particular way – to take a few steps back, or to pull over the car. He's tired of telling authorities that he avoided another accident because he just knew something bad would happen.
The promise he made: Yeah, sure mom. I'll be careful, I promise.

Fen Marino was never really a big drinker, but the night he came back to the small time some friends got together to have a good time.
There have a few instances since then where, beyond all odds, he managed to successfully defend himself against mean-spirited people trying to bully him. He can just tell where to hit people, how to move, when to duck. He single-handedly took on a gang of six and left the encounter unscathed.
The promise he made: Ha! Well if you're going to be a princess then I'll be the best fighter in the world!

Scarlett Anne Owens was dying, which was a shame because she was only eighteen. Doctors told her she was at the top of the transplant list, but still, new kidneys didn't fall out of the sky.
But they did arrive through traffic accidents apparently. Scarlett is recovering but she can't shake a feeling of guilt. It sounds stupid, but she thinks that something she said was the reason an otherwise healthy father of two died at the wheel.
The promise she made: "I'll get better Todd, I promise."

Wren Daniels was willing to say anything to appease her mother. She was caught making out with a guy at the Town Square in the very early morning.
But now she is confused and very frustrated. There were some things she really wanted to do, but they just weren't working out. Something came up every time.
The promise she made: Mom, I swear I won't have sex with him.

Molly and Damon Hart's on and off relationship resulted in a rather rocky marriage. The two just have tempers and say things they don't mean.
But the things they said seem to haunting them. Weapons accidentally find themselves within their reach. Both of them keep realizing all the different ways they could murder the other, even if they're fighting the impulses in their head.
The promises they made: "I'll kill you!" "Yeah, well if I get the chance, I'll kill you first!"

Patrick Higgins is convinced he's going crazy. He keeps seeing his old rival Chris Wellington everywhere, in bus stops and in line, but no one else sees him. He hears his voice in his head all the time. Patrick can't decide if he's crazy or haunted... and why him?

Her agent suggested extreme measures to which Elesa was only to willing to comply. But now she's hungry all the time and her small frame is threatening her health. No matter how hard she tries, she can't gain weight.

Richard (Dick) Wilkins isn't a canon because he's dead.
He took the Redrum Burger challenge down south. He finished the Annihilator but his stomach lining ruptured and he died.
